Jeffrey Fred
To start with, some friends gave us this leopard gecko. Thank you, I think?
Now to get used to the sound of chirping crickets, waiting to be gecko food on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Luke named this guy and has taken 100% of the responsibility for him, even reminding us when it's time to buy more crickets.
A real-life treasure hunt, geo-caching was the discovery of the year. Through a simple app, we are directed to the coordinates thousands of locations where various "caches" are hidden (typically just log book to sign, but cheesy prizes are a bonus). Sometimes we walked, sometimes we drove.... Sometimes we found them, sometimes we didn't. But it was all about the search, exploring our city, and enjoying the nice weather.
Ezra and Hazel
Josh and Courtney's twins' adoption was finalized in the same courthouse as were Jack's and Cora's. What a special day.
Glasses
It was determined that both Jack and Cole need glasses. One of them is being rather stubborn about the whole thing (Dad says to give it some time), but at least Cole looks cute in his.
Jack's Art-Historween project
Fishing
At the park with a friend, some random guy made a fishing pole out of stick and fishing wire for the boys. Too bad Rich wasn't there, cuz they all caught a fish. :)
Driving School
To everyone's irritation, mom had to waste a lot of time in front of the computer (and a lot of money), for going 25 in a 15. Ugh...
Cole Rides a Bike
Cole Plays the Piano
Seemed like Cole was stopping to play the piano every time he walked by. Whatever he was doing, it was a good time to play something.
Movie with the Cousins
Cora decided that Cinderella slippers would be appropriate for the dollar theatre.
Park Time
Swimming? Brrrr!
Bike Chariot
A gift for mom disguised as a birthday gift for Cora, this allowed for some fun rides together.
Football
Jack developed a schedule to prep for football practice. If only he were so thorough with school...
